Alfred's has been the neighborhood barber shop since January 1959. The old-school way: all walk-in, no fuss, cash only, good haircuts and good company. Grab a free coffee and catch up while you wait. Kids, grandpas and everyone in between get the same patient, careful cut.

Our story
Three families. One shop. Since 1959.
- January 26, 1959Alfred Capuano opens Alfred's Barbershop in the Kingsdale Shopping Center.
- The next generationAlfred sells the shop to his nephews, brothers Tom and Ron Capuano.
- 16 years with RondaThe Capuanos sell to Ronda Kautz, who carries Alfred's forward for the next 16 years.
- 2024Ronda sells Alfred's to Collin Mescher, who takes over on New Year's Day.
Through all of it, Alfred's has stayed true to its name: all walk-in, no fuss, hospitable, cash only, good haircuts. The new part is that you can check the wait and save your spot from your phone.
